John-Paul Mays is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of EMRY Global Strategies, bringing more than 29 years of experience in Records Management and Information Governance. His career has been dedicated to helping organizations build practical, defensible programs that support compliance, operational clarity, and long-term information stewardship.
John-Paul guides EMRY’s strategic direction, helping organizations strengthen Records Management foundations and mature their Information Governance in ways that are sustainable and aligned with how they operate. He partners closely with leadership teams to ensure governance programs are structured, understood, and capable of evolving over time.
Known for his measured and practical approach, John-Paul believes effective governance is built through clear structure, shared ownership, and sustained execution rather than complexity or one-time projects.
Chief Sales Marketing Officer
Carlos is an award-winning executive with over 20 years of experience leading sales, marketing, and growth strategy across hospitality, timeshare, and professional services organizations. His work focuses on building clear market positioning, aligning revenue strategy with organizational direction, and guiding brands through periods of growth and evolution.
As Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at EMRY Global Strategies, Carlos leads growth strategy, brand architecture, and go to market execution, ensuring sales and marketing efforts are aligned with client needs and long-term objectives. His role centers on strengthening advisory positioning, expanding market presence, and connecting strategy to execution in ways that support sustainable growth and trust.
In addition to his executive role, Carlos is actively involved in the professional Records Management and Information Governance community through leadership and advisory participation with ARMA International. Her unique background combines deep knowledge and leadership, having built and led a remote, national cybersecurity litigation support team after working on a national records management team. Her experience collaborating across business lines on large-scale, enterprise-wide initiatives gives her a well-rounded perspective that consistently delivers tangible value to our clients. Cindy volunteers her time and talents as Vice Chair of the ARMA International Board of Directors and as an Advisor to the ARMA International Educational Foundation Board of Trustees.

Ryan Zilm, an accomplished executive leader with 28+ years of specialized expertise in data strategy, risk management, and information governance. Through strategic business development and operational refinement, he has spearheaded enterprise-wide initiatives, culminating in significant multi-million-dollar cost-savings and inducted by ARMA international into the company of fellows in October 2022.
